Derek Walcott Memorial Poetry Reading

On March 17th 2017, renowned poet Derek Walcott passed away. The Saint Lucian poet and playwright received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1992 and was best known for his Homeric epic poem Omeros.
Romance Studies invites you to join us for a celebration of Derek Walcott’s life and works. We will be holding a memorial poetry reading in his honor on Tuesday, April 18th from 4-6PM in Goodson Chapel as part of the Humanities Futures grant from FHI.
