How has being a Classical Studies graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"I use the languages, palaeography, and manuscript studies that I took at Duke nearly every day in my work. Clare Woods’ class on Latin Palaeography is what made me decide to pursue rare books as a career."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Classical Studies programs? 

"Take every language class offered and become proficient in at least one modern romance and one classical language. Get to know your professors; classics is a small world and you will encounter them often."
