As part of the Spring Breakthrough program, Duke students had a chance to take an informal course without grades or pressure, built around the concept of learning for learning’s sake. In five days over spring break, Joshua Sosin (Associate Professor, Department of Classical Studies), Jim Kish (Owner, Kish Fabrication), David LoSchiavo (Owner, Durham Cycles), and a group of four Duke students built a bicycle completely from scratch.
